Hamid Reza Davoodian was born in Isfahan in 12th June 1970.
In the summer of 1981, he got familiar with the world art by participating in a photography course in the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (No. 3)-Visual Arts.
In those days photography mostly consisted of black and white and analogue pictures and the courses consisted of developing negatives and printing pictures.
He spent about two years (two summer holidays) in this institute learning the art of photography. In the year 2005 he graduated in computer software engineering from university.
He also became a member of a NGO which focused on environmental issues and therefore became more familiar with nature and the problems surrounding it, this also made him more interested in nature.
He was disconnected from photography for almost 20 years; however, his traveling around Iran was a new start for his passion for photography.

From the year 2005, he started traveling around Iran starting from the western parts of the country-the Kurdistan Region- and then from the year 2010 he started exploring the nature beginning from the Abr Forest in Shahrood.
In each journey, he witnessed the beauty of nature which reminds us of greatness and glory and therefore began thinking of photography again. Each picture that is taken will document the dreamlike beauty of each moment and will transform them into great memories which will last for years.
In July 2009, he made his first international journey to Saudi Arabia by going to Mecca and Medina.
In March 2012 he went to Iraqi Kurdistan region.

From March 2012 to April 2013 he travelled to Brazil and the great Amazon region.
People are always searching for beauty and this sense of discovering and knowing beauty exists in everyone.
Beauty exists all over the world and can be sensed; everyone could see, hear and touch beauty.
You cannot always describe or picture beauty precisely.
Sometimes you need to disregard the pen and camera and touch it directly in order to understand it.
What exists should be observed and sensed completely. One should sense with all senses and with great enjoyment and then try to transfer this observation to others.

.حمیدرضا داودیان در تاریخ بیست و دوم خرداد سال 1349 در شهر اصفهان به دنیا آمد
.از تابستان سال 1360 با ورود به کانون پرورش فکری کودکان و نوجوانان شماره 3(هنرهای تجسمی) با دنیای هنر آشنا شد
در آنجا بود که با شرکت در کلاسهای عکاسی به صورت تجربی با این رشته ی هنری آشنایی پیدا کرد
در آن زمان عکاسی بیشتر به صورت سیاه و سفید و آنالوگ بود
.آموزش عکاسی شامل عکس گرفتن، ظاهر کردن نگاتیو و سپس چاپ عکس همراه بود
.حدود دو سال (دو تعطیلات تابستانه) در این کانون مشغول فراگیری عکاسی بود. وی در سال 1384 دانش آموخته رشته مهندسی کامپیوتر نرم افزار شد
.او با عضویت در (ان جی او) ای که در مورد محیط زیست و طبیعت فعالیت می کنند با طبیعت و مسایل و مشکلات آن از نزدیک آشنایی پیدا کرد که این علاقه ی او را به طبیعت بیشتر از قبل کرد
.به مدت بیست سال به دور از عکاسی بود تا اینکه سفرهای ایرانگردی، شروعی دوباره برای عکاسی بود
.از سال 1385 گردشگری را از غرب کشور ( منطقه کردستان ) و از سال 1389 طبیعت گردی را از جنگل ابر نزدیک شاهرود شروع کرد
.در هر سفر هر لحظه منظره های زیبای طبیعت که این همه شکوه و عظمت را به ما می دهند را نظاره می کرد
با دیدن این همه زیبایی ، دوباره به فکر عکاسی طبیعت افتاد. با هر عکسی که گرفته می شود لحظه ها و منظره های رویایی ثبت می گردند و آنها تبدیل به خاطرات خوب و خوشی می شود که تا سالیان دراز ماندنی و ماندگار می گردند
.در تیرماه سال 1388 اولین سفر خارجی او به عربستان سعودی به شهرهای مکه و مدینه بود
.در فرودین ماه سال 1391 دومین سفر به اقلیم کردستان عراق بود
.در اسفند ماه سال 1391 تا فروردین ماه سال 1392 سفری به کشور برزیل و منطقه ی بزرگ آمازون داشت
.همیشه انسان ها به دنبال زیبایی هستند. این حس درونی زیباشناسی و زیباشناختی در همه ی افراد جهان وجود دارد و همه افراد به دنبال آن هستند
.زیبایی در تمام جهان قابل دیدن و لمس کردن است. همه می توانند این زیبایی را ببیند، بشنوند و لمس کنند
.همیشه نمی توان زیبایی را آن طور که هست توصیف کرد یا آن طور که شایسته است به تصویر کشید
.گاهی باید قلم را به گوشه ای انداخت و گاهی باید دوربین را به کناری گذاشت و همه چیز را از نزدیک لمس کرد
.باید آنچه که هست را به طور کامل دید و حس کرد
حسی با تمام وجود حسی سرشار از لذتی که در دیدن طبیعت و شگفتی هایی که در آن هست و بعد از آن این حس را به دیگران به هر صورتی که هست انتقال داد. اعتقاد دارد هنوز در دوران تجربه اندوزی و آماتوری است.
